All NCL travelers know (or should know) that online check-in starts at midnight ET 21 days before departure. It’s one of those rites of passage in the getting ready to sail process…like printing and saving a copy of e-docs is. One of those steps you take before (did I say before?) packing for the trip, and the excitement really turns up, at least for me, at this point.

Here’s a look at my calendar starting Friday Oct 27:
- Oct 16-19: Cruise Compass Forum (17th) – Ft. Lauderdale, FL (see https://cruisemadeeasy.com/yes-travel-advisors-have-travel-issues-too/ for the woes of that weekend)
- Oct 23: Michael W. Smith – Hutchinson, KS
- Oct 25: (tonight) Gabriel Iglesias – Wichita, KS (first time in my life I’ve gone to more than one concert in a week, when it wasn’t being put on by the radio station I was working at)
- Nov 7-9: NCL Escape Ship Tour/Inspection – New Orleans, LA (driving trip, will visit Jackson, MS, where we lived in the late 1990’s, for the first time in 20 years on the way home) – Watch my Youtube channel for video soon!
- Nov 13-23 or 24: NCL Jade Ship Tour/Inspection – San Diego, CA (driving trip, two days out there, then the ship inspection, then our cruise! then 2-3 day drive back) – Watch my Youtube channel for video soon!
- Dec 5-8: NCL Encore self-guided tour (public spaces only), NCL Aqua Ship Inspection/Tour – Miami, FL – Watch my Youtube channel for video soon!
