2024 was supposed to be a thrilling year, featuring our first suite stateroom trip and an epic mega cruise from Istanbul to Miami. But life threw us curveballs, including the loss of a dear friend and unexpected personal challenges, leading to the cancellation of our plans. NCL's decision to cancel the entire series of sailings on Getaway was a tough blow, forcing us to take a break until 2026, when we will celebrate our 25th anniversary with a cruise, just like we did the first time.

We’ve Chosen Our Next Two Destinations

This October, we're embarking on a 7-day cruise through the US Northeast and Canada, a perfect leaf-peeping tour. We're excited to experience our first Aft Balcony room on the NCL Escape, room 13312. But that's not all—next June, we're treating ourselves to a luxurious forward-facing Penthouse Suite on the Norwegian Jewel, where we'll enjoy stunning views and all the perks of being a Haven passenger, just without access to the Haven area itself.
